Welcome to the
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The department
covers a broad range of disciplines related to computing, sensing, and
communicating. Through education, we strive to train our students to be
the next generation of engineers, capable of becoming leaders in
industry, government or academia. Through research, we strive to
discover new physical phenomena and algorithms and invent new devices
and technologies, which will improve all of our lives.
Silicon and SOI based pressure sensor chips for automotive and process control applications (0..1 bar to 0..100 bar, overpressure, 135 bar; operating temperature range -40 ..+ 135°C/180°C).
The 4th annual NanoUtah Conference will emphasize nanoMedicine and brings together scientists, engineers, clinicians, industrial leaders, and tech transfer professionals to discuss the issues and opportunities in nanotechnology-based approaches to medicine.
